If you’re looking for some maternity photos inspiration in Colorado you’ve come to the right place. This is a beautiful boho maternity session that I shot in Denver, Colorado. We had the absolute perfect summer weather for this boho maternity session in this big open field. Taking photos for Vanessa and her sweet little family is always so much fun! I’ve had the pleasure of capturing them on multiple occasions, but this boho maternity lifestyle session is by far one of my favorite sessions to date!!

Here are some helpful tips if you’re planning a session! Whether it be a solo session or a session with the people you love.

1. Color coordinate! (think EARTHY tones) so DON’T have everyone wear the same color but rather have everyone wear colors that compliment each other.
2. LAYERS. Layers to an outfit truly add a little extra to your photos and it’s always nice that you can remove a layer without having a full outfit change.
3. PROPS. If there are props that make sense to you / make senses on the story we are capturing then bring the props!
4. LIGHTING. If you have the opportunity to be flexible on the time of day you’re taking your photos that’s great. All lighting is great, because it just depends what YOU want. Just know, harsh light is NOT going to look the same as a cloudy day. SO just keep that in mind when thinking of the vibe of the photos ya want!
