Megan and Jeff’s couples session on a catamaran in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Santorini, Greece, brought the vibes! The session centered on candid, raw emotion, with the two of them simply being together and loving on one another. It was pure magic. May in Santorini had the most perfect weather too—sunny skies, warm breezes, and even getting soaked by the water felt amazing. The key to an authentic couples session is to focus on the natural, intimate moments between the two of you, acting just like you would if no one else were around. Pretend the camera isnt even there and really take the moment to romanticize your normal, because it’s SO special!

These two were so genuine and truly wanted to capture these moments and were completely immersed in their love throughout the session. You could feel their connection in the air, and it elevated the photos to a whole new level. My priority is always ensuring my couples feel comfortable and at ease, and with Megan and Jeff, it was effortless. They embraced their true selves, loving on each other as if I wasn’t even there. While I can set the mood with music and prompts, the real magic unfolds when you simply let go and embrace each other. Megan and Jeff did just that, and the results were incredible!! Capturing authentic and real moments is my jam, but a lot of it has to come from the couple too. And if you need to take a shot before the session to loosen up, that’s totally okay. Just focus on being present in the moment, and don’t worry about the camera. (:
