Oh, where do I even begin with Jennifer + Noah’s incredible micro wedding at Sapphire Point Overlook in Dillon, CO? This day was everything I love about intimate weddings. Small, personal, full of sweet, raw moments, and surrounded by the natural beauty of fall in the Colorado mountains. This is the perfect Colorado elopement location. Whether you want it just the two of you or a few of your closest people, a Sapphire Point elopement will exceed your expectations!
From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this wedding was going to be special. The families were both so kind, and you could just feel the love in the air. The fall leaves were starting to turn, and the crisp September weather was perfection—50s with a slight breeze, just enough to give that cozy fall vibe. A storm was rolling in later, but everything before that was absolutely flawless!
Let’s talk about Sapphire Point Overlook for a second—this place is perfect for a fall micro wedding or elopement. The overlook has breathtaking views of Lake Dillon with the towering peaks of the Rockies surrounding you. It’s honestly hard to imagine a more stunning backdrop for a wedding! With space for up to 30 guests, it’s the perfect spot to focus on what really matters—your love! Just remember, reservations are a must, especially when those stunning fall leaves are turning. Plus, the charming mountain towns of Breckenridge, Dillon, and Frisco are nearby, making it easy to continue the celebration with a lovely reception or delicious meal. If you’re thinking of a Sapphire Point elopement in Colorado during the fall, just do itttttt-you won’t regret it!
After the ceremony, we headed back to Jennifer + Noah’s Airbnb in Breckenridge for a cozy, intimate wedding reception. Breckenridge in the fall really pops OFF! The leaves were changing colors, the mountain air was fresh, and the vibe was so relaxed and joyful. Their Airbnb was tucked away in the woods, which made it the perfect spot for their little reception and some intimate wedding couple portraits. Which are seriously some of my favorite shots!
Jennifer’s culture was beautifully woven into their day with a second outfit change and small personal touches at their Airbnb reception. It was so fun to see those meaningful elements come together in such an authentic way. They kept things simple, but every moment felt so thoughtful and intentional.
One of my absolute favorite parts of the day was watching the small, raw moments unfold naturally. One particularly sweet and authentic moment happened as Jennifer was getting ready for her big day with her sister by her side. It was such a quiet, beautiful exchange, and it’s exactly what I love about intimate weddings—no rushing, just being present. Those little interactions hold so much weight, and I was honored to capture them.
This day really was just tooooooo good. From the ceremony at Sapphire Point to the cozy reception in Breckenridge, everything felt intimate, intentional, and real. Jennifer and Noah are the kind of couple who make you feel like you’ve known them forever, and it was such a joy to be part of their day.
